Honey Creek

Carolyn Braaksma and I were asked to design and fabricate a wide variety of interior detailing for an Iowa Department of Natural Resources resort development in southern Iowa. The material treatments include glass mosaic, cast bronze, patterned ceramic floor tile inserts, cast and stained concrete, and art glass panels. The art glass includes eight small and seven large panels used as interior privacy screens. The overall design scheme responded to the prevailing prairie style architecture and is derived from plants and animals native to the region. 2008
